What is ASP.NET?
ASP.NET Core is Microsoft’s open-source web framework, built on .NET and C#. It is cross-platform, runs just as well on Linux as on Windows and is one of the fastest web frameworks around. Strong typing, mature tooling and long-term support make it a good fit for software that needs to last for years.
Why ASP.NET?
Fast and scalable
High performance per server, even with many concurrent users and customers.
Strongly typed
C# catches errors early. That keeps large codebases manageable and safe to extend.
Long-term support
Microsoft ships LTS releases with years of updates. A solid foundation for long-running software.
What we use it for
- ABusiness applications and core systems
- BSaaS platforms with multiple customers
- CAPIs behind portals and apps
- DIntegrations with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and ERP
When do you choose ASP.NET?
ASP.NET is our standard choice for business applications and SaaS. If the idea is still unproven, we often start with a pilot in Laravel. For large enterprise environments on Java, we choose Spring Boot.
ASP.NET, Laravel or Spring Boot?
We use Laravel to validate an idea quickly with a pilot or MVP. On ASP.NET we build business applications and SaaS platforms that need to last for years. We use Spring Boot in true enterprise environments with a Java landscape.
